A bit smaller than imagined, but works great!

They need to stop folding this for shipping.

Currently still trying to get it to uncrease from the insane and impossible folds out of it. If purchasing for yourself and you don't care, I say go for it-- they're really soft and the memory foam is soft (where it wasn't crushed, anyway). I tried compressing it, folding it back over on itself. My next attempt is going to be water and a short tumble in the dryer. If that doesn't work, I would *not* recommend giving as a gift (unless the person wouldn't care, but I'm tellin' ya.. those folds were so crisp and drastic that they couldn't lay flat without help). It doesn't give the best visual presentation straight out of the package, but other than that, top marks! It's soft, the print is cute, and the product itself appears to be really well made and durable!

I got this for my daughters bathroom because the one we had been using was worn out. Overall, I have been pretty pleased with it. She loves mermaids, so the design is definitely a plus. Also, I like how soft and absorbent it is. As you can imagine, the kids bathroom often gets water on the floor, so having something absorbent to soak it up is a must. I also really like that it’s washable. I’ve washed it once so far, and it came out intact. Like most washable matte though, I would think it probably would wear out more quickly if you wash it too often, so that’s just something to be aware of. Overall, it’s cute and practical, so I would recommend.

Nice companion to the Mermaid shower curtain!

I sent this to my Mermaid Queen friend after sending her the matching shower curtain which she loved. She reports back that it is soft and cushy (memory foam) and an exact match with the plastic shower curtain I sent her last week. Her only criticism is it was folded in half for shipping. And now there is a huge crease running down the middle. I have a similar type of memory foam mat at one of my toilets and I suspect it came folded many years ago, I can’t remember. I think with time and use her crease will soften. Other than that she LOVES it! Again…we are 69 year old…children at heart!

Cute addition to a girls bathroom

The mat is comfortable to step on and looks adorable. For anyone into mermaids they would enjoy having it by the shower/bathtub or sink. Only things I don't like it about it is the strong smell when coming out of the packaging (this went away after a wash; probably could have left it outside for a few hours and been ok too) and how long it takes to dry out. When getting wet from someone stepping out of tub/shower it stays wet for a very long time. I would recommend it more for in front of the stink for that reason alone.
