Smaller than expected but pretty
This is a great towel for kids; super absorbent and soft. Has a great design pattern too!
My son loves his solar system towel! I got it with the intent of using it as a bath towel, not a beach towel, and have been mostly pleased. I washed it first, as always, and didn't notice a large amount of shed from the towel. It's very soft, and the colors are as vibrant in person as they are in the photos online. As with many soft, printed towels, the trade off is in absorbency; it'll dry just fine if you're using it to rub water from your skin, but it's not going to just absorb the water on its own. It's a good size on an elementary school aged kiddo; it wraps from his neck/shoulders to his knees or lower, depending on whether he has a bunch pulled up at his neck or if he's got it draped like a super hero cape as he streaks naked and dripping down the hallway. Because let's be real: there's no active drying off happening here. Basically: it's a cute, soft towel that a kid will enjoy.
